Bargain Shopper

By: Philip Culver

Most women I know are bargain shoppers. It doesn’t matter if they’re married or single, young or old, there’s just something innate in women that makes them want to haggle.
Many men I know will snort at the idea, but I actually think it’s a smart thing to do. Why, after all, who wouldn’t want to leave a sale knowing that you were able to purchase something at the best possible price. Being able to slash down a product’s price in half? Ah, priceless!

Although I’ve come to understand the psychology behind bargain shopping, it still makes me laugh when I hear my wife and daughters carry on about the great bargains they’ve made after a day of shopping. I realize that I’m actually saving money when my gals can do that, but on the other hand, every time they buy a bag or jacket or piece of clothing at a supposed bargain price, I have to stop myself from blurting, "hey, you have some many of those in your closet already."

Of course, when women go shopping, it’s always an adventure and being able to bargain shop makes the experience all the more thrilling. It’s true, the gals can truly have a ball at the local mall or department store, but if they’re after bargains galore, then the best place to go shopping is online, on the World-Wide-Web. They can truly have a blast in cyberspace. You can buy practically anything and everything on cyberspace, plus the prices are simply too good to believe, too. Why, if you’re inclined, you can even do your groceries online now.

The plain and simple truth is there is nowhere else you can get great products at great bargains than on the World Wide Web. So whip out that laptop know and open the doors to an entirely new world of excellent bargains at your fingertips. There are dozens and dozens of online stores that offer you anything your heart desires. Moreover, there are even selections available online that you can’t find anywhere else. For example, if you love Victoria’s Secret and do routinely purchase from their local branch, simply compare what they have there with their vast array of offering online. The vast difference is enough to make your eyes pop and make you scratch your head and wonder why you hadn’t tried online bargain hunting sooner.

Yes, it’s the new millennium. Time to get with the program!

    Bargain Shopper

    By: Morgan Hamilton

Do you consider yourself to be a bargain shopper? After growing up around various women, it didn’t take me long to come to the realization that most women are. You may refute this, but how many women do you know that aren’t ever vigilant in finding that next great deal on handbags or meatloaf? I have to laugh at my wife and daughters when they tell me that they found this great deal of a pair of boots, or a new jacket. The fact of the matter is is that they already have plenty of them. How many pairs of shoes do you need? How many can you wear? Well, apparently many women need a pair for each outfit. I have come to the simple conclusion that this ritual will not be ending any time soon, so I just thank goodness each one of my girls is a bargain shopper, otherwise dear old dad would end up in the poor house.

There is no limit to the places that you can shop these days. Whether you’re a bargain shopper downtown, or in the local mall, probably limits your selection a great deal. What I’m referring to is the past selection on the Internet. A bargain shopper can truly have a blast in cyberspace. I showed my mother how to effectively serve the net and now she is the consummate bargain shopper. Oh well, it was probably inevitable. Now she turns to her computer for all of her clothing and trinket needs. She is one of those few who even shop for her groceries online. At least I know she is getting good deals and saving some serious money.

So where exactly do you go to find these great deals? If you are a mall walker or outlet store browser, that is pretty effective, but don’t disregard the World-Wide-Web. When you jump on your favorite PC, the world becomes your shopping mall. If you are a true bargain shopper, then this is the chain of discount shopping venues. Only online will you find tons of web stores vying for your business and offering the best selection of the latest styles.

By comparing web sites side-by-side, you can be assured of finding the very best deal out there. Now that truly is what a bargain shopper is all about. In addition, there are wonderful selections that can’t be found in the actual store at your local mall. For example, if you love Victoria’s Secret and do your routine bargain shopper thing there once a week, then you’re sadly missing out on a lot. Go on the Internet and take a look at Victoria’s Secret and see that they really have a much larger inventory and you get at the local boutique. It is truly astounding, but not very surprising if you think about it. We are now in the 21st country and it’s time to take advantage of the Internet. It’s time to conform to the new bargain shopper mentality, and get those great deals.
