We have tried and tested the full range of Le Chameau footwear and here are the results. The Chasseur Zipped and Leather Lined boots are the flagship product. The leather lining ensures excellent dry warmth and comfort all year round. They are extremely warm in the winter but equally will not make your feet clammy when the weather is milder in the spring and autumn. The zip allows a close fit at the ankle while remaining easy to put on and take off.

The Chasseur boot is also made with a neoprene lining. The neoprene is excellent if you have to stand still in freezing cold weather and suits those with ice block feet. The foot fitting of Chasseur is normal to wide and they are sized in whole Continental sizes. If you prefer a lighter weight boot, consider the Vega Cotton lined or the Veganord Outlast lined. They both have an excellent walking boot sole which affords excellent grip on slippery terrain. The Cotton lining is perfect for all year round but the Outlast lining gives an extra level of insulation if you plan to wear the boots in very cold weather.
