Hello all and welcome to the Motorola Razr v3 - The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. The information contained in this article was collected from experience and from extensive research. I will try to keep this article completely bias free, factual and to the point. I hope the information contained in this article is helpful and I would like to thank you for reading.

The Overview

No bigger than the size of a credit card, the innovative Motorola Razr v3 is another monumental installment in communications from the cell phone giant, Motorola. The pure size of the phone has been the talk of consumers and the communicational community ever since its release. Measuring a mere 13.9 millimeters thin, 98 millimeters long and 53 millimeters wide (roughly the width of a credit card), the Motorola Razr v3 is truly a step forward in fitting the latest technologies in such a small confinement. On the outside of the phone you will notice a magnificent 96 x 80 pixel display, that has a 4,000 color limit. There are also some external buttons on the Motorola Razr v3 that are rather thin, but are quite easy to access. The voice-recording function is on the right side of the phone (looking from the front of the phone), and the volume and nifty camera buttons are on the right side. To access the keypad and the internal monitor, you must flip open the phone. Upon opening the flip phone, you will see the beautiful monitor display and unique keypad. The monitor has a great 2.5 inch display and is able to render up to 260,000 colors! The keypad is very flat but after using it for a few minutes I learned to use it rather well.

The Good

The beautiful phone has an array of features that make it stand out. The Motorola Razr v3 has Bluetooth capabilities, speakerphone, camera capabilities, e-mail, and the ability to be used as a world phone in over 100 different countries! With all these features plus many more, it is safe to say that the Motorola Razr is a strong and reliable cellular phone.

The Bad

Though the Motorola Razr v3 is a technological masterpiece, however there were some flaws in my opinion and flaws according to the massive amounts of similar complaints I have read. One of those flaws happen to be the battery life! According to my research the Motorola Razr v3 has a battery life of about 7 hours of talk time and 10 days of standby. That’s great, but it seems that over a relatively small amount of time the battery life declines, causing the need to recharge the battery many times consecutively .

The Ugly

It was very hard to find something for this category, however I managed to find one little aspect that was annoying. and that would be the volume. I noticed that I constantly and repeatedly tried to raise the volume when I was talking on the phone. The volume was an issue, but the phone more than over compensated with its other grand features. There also seemed to be some software problems, where the phone would shutoff automatically. But this cases are small and far apart.
