Tears and Tales

Russell A. Vassallo

Krazy Duck Publications (2006)

ISBN 0977673901

Russell Vassallo has written a beautifully touching book about the special animals in his life. The stories are told in simple words, bringing each of his special pets to life, granting them the immortality he so wished for them. Because you won’t forget Russell’s beloved animals, from the wild Cardinal who gave him strength as he fought his own battle with cancer to the horses that seemed to have the ability to speak with him.

I sat reading the book with tears streaming down my face as I remembered old friends I have lost and I embraced my new ones who came silently from around the house to give me comfort. Anyone who has ever rescued an animal will understand the unique gift we are given when one of these creatures enters our lives.

And finally, we are given hope that the "Rainbow Bridge" really does exist and that one day we will be reunited with all of our beloved pets.

This book is a keeper, to be kept at your bedside for reading over and over. Russell A Vassallo has done a wonderful job with this book!
